The Kingdom’s doors

Mar 14, 03:38 PM

To my brother Chabel

You, who used to carry on your chest
A little pendant of Jesus crucified,
You left, like the Nazarene,
The sorrows of this earthly life
When you were cut down by a criminal hand.

Suddenly, you reached the ground,
And it was at the moment of falling,
That your little Jesus let go of the wood
As a meaningful proof of Heaven
And a manifestation of faith.

It moved me so deeply, dear one,
To see on your neck,
The Christ of your pendant,
Resurrected, redeemed,
With His arms raised,
Ready for the encounter.

I was filled with strength
And peace overflowed my being.
I know for certain, Chabel,
You knocked at the Kingdom’s doors, and
you were welcomed by the Lord in joy,
When Jesus dropped the wood
And opened His arms wide

As a sign of Infinite Love.
